People who know and work with me know that I appreciate and have studied fine wine since the early '70's.

Over time, I have accumulated a collection of over 500 bottles. I focus on red Bordeaux, California Cabernet and a bit of Australian Shiraz.

One of the benefits of putting away wine is to be able to taste how the same wine evolves over the years. In order to track and follow that evolution I have started documenting tasting notes. Some of those notes are available on this site.

For special occasions I have accumulated some bottles in from the years in which the events occured...birth years, anniversaries and so forth. It tends to make the celebration really special.
